Before, I drew on paper, and I was only ever going to show it to someone after it was finished. Usually I lost confidence in the compellingness of the story long before that.

I draw this comic strictly to have fun, to work out some of my own ideas on things, and to practice my art. I'm happy if people find it interesting, but there is no stifling goal of making a Deep and Meaningful story, a Magnum Opus I will be remembered by through the ages, etc.
